On Saturday, November 9th, the Chargers defeated Community Christian College Georgia by a score of 115-63. The team was looking in sync, with half of the 12 man roster reaching double digit points in the blowout win.
Most notable of these players was freshman Australian big man Baxter MacDonald, who shot 5-7 on the night and 3-4 on his 3-pt attempts. Baxter had previously only made a single three all season, but he was enthusiastic about his opportunity to continue developing his game.
?Playing for Australia, I used to knock them down all the time. It took some time getting used to the new ball and just building up my confidence with that, but I'm ready to start knocking them down now,? MacDonald said.
The Chargers have improved their record to 3-1 on the season, and face a tough test with upcoming back-to-back road games on November 15th and 16th.
