Georgia Highlands College

Rob Payne is entering his second year as an Assistant Coach at Georgia Highlands. Rob is a 2014 graduate from Georgia Gwinnet College with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Rob is originally from Marietta, GA and is a graduate from Kennesaw Mountain High School.

Rob started his collegiate playing career and education at Gordon State College, located in Barnesville, GA. After two years he transferred from Georgia College and State University to further his collegiate playing career and education. Due to continuous injuries, he decided to take a year off of playing baseball all together and focus on getting healthy and his academics. He then transferred to Georgia Gwinnett College, located in Lawerenceville, GA. While at GGC, he helped lead his team to an NAIA World Series appearance in 2014.
