Chargers Win Four-Game Conference Series

Chargers Sweep South Georgia State on Saturday, April 6th winning 4-0 and 13-6 followed by a sweep of East Georgia State on Sunday, April 7th by scores of 6-2 and 8-3.  The Chargers were led in the circle by freshman Kara Kight and Haley Robinson, who each picked up two wins a piece, while Kight also earned the save on Sunday's final game against East Georgia when she closed out the last three innings for the Chargers.  

The offense was led by sophomore Mya Adams who was 5-7 (0.583), Kayla Laukka 6/11 (0.545), Sierrah Gani 4/10 (0.400), Lexi Palazzo 5/13 (0.385), Deyonce Lewis 3/8 (0.375), and Mallory Alford 3/9 (0.333).  

Next up for the Chargers is a home game against Georgia Military College on Wednesday, April 10th at 3 and 5pm, respectively.
