The Georgia Highlands College athletics program is dedicated to the pursuit of athletic excellence within the framework of an academic community committed to the college’s educational objectives. Our programs are committed to helping students achieve intellectual, physical and personal growth while competing at the highest level of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA Division 1).
The Charger Booster Club will strive to provide GHC’s athletic teams with financial and physical resources, allowing them to compete at a high level.
Methods of Giving:
Annual cash gifts are the most common form of giving. They allow the athletics department to allocate money to the area of greatest need, particularly for scholarships
Matching gifts give you the opportunity to double or triple your gift at no additional cost to you. Many companies have matching gift programs to enhance the contributions by their employees. Check with your company’s benefits department for matching gift information.
Gifts in kind such as contributions of products, merchandise, equipment or services are often provided to support the athletics program. Credit toward membership is given based on the fair market value of the in-kind gift.
Memorial gifts, established as a scholarship endowment, provide needed financial assistance to our young men and women student athletes. A memorial fund is a great way to perpetuate a family name while significantly supporting athletics.
Other giving options include endowed gifts, real estate, securities, life insurance policies, stocks or monies through trusts and bequests.
