GEORGIA HIGHLANDS COLLEGE BASEBALL OPEN TRYOUT FOR FALL 2018/SPRING 2019 SEASON

WHEN: Tuesday June 5th - Registration begins at 9AM
Tryouts are open to all players who 2018 or 2019 high school graduates (2019 graduates must have completed their junior year), or players who have graduated high school prior to 2018. Players trying out who have PLAYED baseball at another college or university MUST bring a signed release from their previous institution in order to tryout.
FORMAT: Players will be run through a pro-style workout and should be prepared to run a 60 yard dash, field from their position, and hit batting practice. Pitchers will be expected to throw in the bullpen or to live hitters or both.
EQUIPMENT: Players should wear baseball pants, jersey, cleats, and hats. Catchers will need to bring their own catcher’s gear with them and hitters should bring their own bats (BBCOR or wood only).
COST: NONE – This is a free opportunity to be evaluated by the GHC Baseball Coaching Staff.
