The Chargers earned a season sweep over ABAC on Monday with a 21-8 victory in Tifton. GHC racked up 23 hits in the contest, including 9 extra base hits capped off by a 2 home run day by Malik Spratling. Skylar McPhee hit a grand slam in the game, and 3 Chargers piled up 4 hits on the day. The 3 homer day establishes a new Charger record for home runs in a season at 44.
Ethan Underwood claimed his second win of the season, going 3.1 innings and allowing 4 runs on 6 hits. With the win, the Chargers move to 26-19 on the season and 12-10 in GCAA play. They will be back in action at home vs West Georgia Tech on Wednesday night at 6PM.
