The Chargers get the 82-70 win over Brunswick Community College to go 2-0 in the Cape Fear Claasic in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Chargers set the tone offensively in the first half with a fast and efficient start leading 46-24 at the break. Brunswick found their rhythm in the second half outscoring the Chargers 46-36 in the second half but it was not enough to overcome the Chargers fast start in the first half and the Chargers pulled away for the 12 point win.
GHC had 4 players in double digits, led by Derrick Cook with 17, Carl Johnson had 16, Jalen Knight with 12, and Mason Green with 10. With the win the Chargers go to 5-1 on the young season and will return to action on Tuesday at home versus Middle Georgia Prep. Tip off 7:30pm.
