Behind Cahiem Brown's 27 points the Chargers storm back in the second half to defeat Middle Georgia Prep 85-77. Middle Georgia Prep opened the game on a 13-3 run and held the lead at the half 39-32. Middle Georgia opened the second half like they did the first extending their lead to 51-40 at the 13:14 mark. The Chargers battled back with a pressure defense and forced several turnovers and the Chargers went on a 25-4 run and extended their lead to as many as 13 points and closed out the game.
"We had a bad shooting night but our press bailed us out. It sped up the game, and allowed us to get out in transition," said Charger head coach Phil Gaffney. In addition to Brown's 27, Khalyl Watters had 19 followed by Carl Johnson with 11. The Chargers (6-1) on the season returns to action at home on Tuesday November 20th versus ASPA, tip off 7:30pm.
