Despite Carl Johnson's 35 points the Chargers fall on the road to the Jets of South Georgia Tech. The Jets opened the game on a strong run leading by as many as 14 points in the first half, but the Chargers made a run of their own to lead at the half 48-45. Playing with only six players, due to injuries, the depth was a contributing factor down the stretch as the Jets took control and closed out the win. Carl Johnson had an outstanding performance offensively, scoring 35 points, Khalyl Waters had 16 points and 9 rebounds, Derrick Cook and Latief Harris had 14 points each. The Chargers return to action at home on Saturday versus South Georgia State in a huge GCAA conference game, tip off 4:00pm. We need the Orange & Blue out in full force to cheer own our Chargers!
