The Chargers traveled to Albany Tech to take on the Titans and came away with a hard fought 97-91 win. The Chargers struggled offensively in the first half only shooting 38% from the field compared to the Titans 60% and Albany Tech took a 44-43 lead into the break. The Chargers fought hard to keep the came close in the second half forcing the Titans to 25 turnovers. The Chargers made up the difference on the free throw line in the second half shooting 21/25 from the charity stripe and that was the difference to seal the win. The Chargers Derrick Cook led the way with 29 points and was 11/13 from the free throw line, Carl Johnson had 20 points and 5 steals, and Chris Wright and Khalyl Waters had 15 points each. The Chargers 15-3, 3-1 in conference play return to action on Saturday at home versus Gordon College, tip off 4:00pm.
