The Chargers down by 21 points storm back for the win over the Bobcats of East Georgia State. The Bobcats came out and took control of the game from the outset taking a 46-40 lead into the half. The second half didn't start out much better for the Chargers with the Bobcats extending their lead to 21 at the 15:13 mark of the second. After a Charger time out, GHC came out with the press and force the Bobcats to turnover the ball over. The Chargers outscored the Bobcats 61-37 in the second half to pull away for the 101-83 win. "I am super proud of these guys , they never quit, coming from 21 down to lead by 20 was an amazing feat," said Charger Head Coach Phil Gaffney. Derrick Cook was huge down the stretch for the Chargers with a double-double, 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Khalyl Waters played well with 23 points, and 7 rebounds, Latief Harris and Carl Johnson both had double-doubles with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Dominic Ham added 10 points off the bench. The Chargers 17-3, 5-1 in GCAA play will travel to Central Georgia Tech on Saturday, tip off 4:00pm.
