The Chargers traveled to Gordon State College and came away with a tough 85-84 loss. The Chargers and the Highlanders fought a tough first half with GHC leading 46-44 at the break. The teams continued their evenly match contest in the second half, with the game having 14 lead changes and 7 ties during the game. The Chargers struggles from the 3 point line continued with the Chargers going 4/16 in the game and Gordon State held on for the win. The Chargers were led by Chris Wright with 28 points, Carl Johnson with 16, Khalyl Waters with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and Latief Harris with 10 points. The Chargers (21-6, 9-4 ) in GCAA play return to action on Saturday as they travel to East Georgia State, tip off 4:00pm.
