The Chargers can't hang on in second half and fall to the Titans of Central Georgia Tech 79-73. The game was a tale of two halves with the Chargers going on a 13-0 run to take a 32-19 lead midway through the first half. The Titans cut the Chargers lead to 9, 44-35 to close out the first half. The Titans chipped away at the Chargers lead in the second half to tie the game at 60 with 8:25 remaining. The reclaimed the lead 62-60 at the 8:03 mark but that would be the Chargers last lead of the night. The Titans held on for the win.
The Chargers were led by Chris Wright with 22 points and 9 rebounds, Carl Johnson had 12 points, and Derrick Cook had 11 points. The Chargers 21-8, 9-6 in GCAA play travel to Andrew College on Saturday, tip off 3:00pm.
