Brianna Fickes returns to Georgia Highlands College as a graduate assistant in the spring of 2019 after completing a successful career at Georgia Gwinnett College.  

In her final year at Georgia Gwinnett, Fickes was awarded 1st Team All-Conference after hitting an impressive 0.446 for the Grizzlies.  Despite missing the first 22 games of the season with a shoulder injury, Fickes still managed to hit a team-leading 8 homeruns and had a slugging percentage of 0.843.

Fickes, is one of the most decorated alumni from Georgia Highlands College's softball program.  From 2014-2016 Fickes was named a NJCAA All-American, NFCA All-American, and Fastpitch News Offensive All-American as a sophomore.  Fickes was also a 1st Team All-Conference member, NFCA 1st Team All-Southeastern Region Selection, and two-time GCAA All-Tournament Team member.  Fickes still holds numerous records at the school.  Fickes graduated with an associate in general studies from GHC in the summer of 2016.

"Bree is a great addition to our softball staff.  She will help with the daily operations of the program, but we especially look forward to her help with the offense and defensive positioning during games".  

Bree is completing a bachelor's degere of criminal justice at Georgia Highlands and lives in Cartersville, Georgia.
