Lady Chargers headed to the Final Four

The Lady Chargers opened the game with a 16-2 run and came away with the quarter-final GCAA Conference tournament win over the Lady Tigers of Andrew College to advance to the Final Four on Friday in Americus, Georgia. The Lady Chargers turned up the defensive pressure holding the Lady Tigers to just 6 points in the first period and 11 for the first half. 

The Lady Tigers made a run in the 3rd period, outscoring the Lady Chargers in the second half, but the deficit was to high for Andrew to overcome. The Lady Chargers Anna Stewart led all scorers with 24 points. Kateryna Khomenko again had a double-double, 12 points, 13 rebounds, and Cierrah Perdue chipped in 12 points as well.

The Lady Chargers 19-11, advance to the Final Four on Friday as they take on Central Georgia Tech. Tip-off 5:30pm
