The Lady Chargers traveled to Panama City Beach to take on Chattahoochee Valley in the Gulf Coast CLassic falling 97-67. The Lady Chargers could not find a way to slow down Chattahoochee ., "We just caught a really good athletic team that played at a high level. We didn't match their effort. They were much better than us tonight," said Lady Charger head coach Brandan Harrell.
The Lady Chargers were led by Ciara Thompson with 13 points, followed by Jessica Eadsforth-Yates with 12, Destiny Marshall with 11, and Sharai Lay with 10. The Lady Chargers return to action tomorrow for Day 2 of the Gulf Coast Classic versus Gulf Coast State College, tip off 1:00pmEST.
