Chargers Power Their Way To Sweep Of Lincoln Trail
The Chargers heated up with the temperature this weekend, sweeping a four game series with the Lincoln Trail Statesmen by a combined score of 54-9. GHC hit .455 for the series while slugging 7 home runs and 10 doubles. Caden Marcos has 8 hits in 12 at bats for a .667 series average, while Andrew Bishop had 10 RBI, and Wyatt Gatlin added another pair of Home Runs to his tally. The Charger pitching staff did its part as well, getting four quality starts, including a shutout by Noah McMahon in game one and solid outings by Kaiden Krak, David McKechnie, and Matthew Perkins. The sweep moves GHC's record to 12-4 on the season. They will be back in action on Monday against USC Salkehatchie at Robert Bentley Field at 1PM.
