Lady Titans Stifled at Home

Macon, GA – The CGTC Lady Titans (1-11, 1-10) loss 71-46 at home Thursday evening to No. 19 Georgia Highlands College (18-2, 13-1).

Balancing their mid-range shooting and paint play, the Lady Titans got off to an 11-2 lead in the first quarter.

Taking a 13-11 advantage into the second period, the Lady Titans saw their lead diminish as Georgia Highlands went on a 19-8 run before halftime.

With limited offensive production in the second half, the Lady Titans were unable to overtake Georgia Highlands.

Sophomore Hayleigh Ross was the sole double-digit scorer for the Lady Titans. Ross finished the game with 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

The Lady Titans will host Andrew College on Monday, March 22 in Macon. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
