GHC Battles Back to Take Two From South Georgia

Jacob Meyer threw a 2 hit shutout to cap a double header sweep and to even out the series against South Georgia on Saturday.  The Chargers fell in the first two games, but battled back to stay in the series.

In game one Saturday, Trace Twardoski hit a go ahead solo homer in extra innings to put the Chargers in front, and Logan Ward picked up the win in 4 innings of work.

The Chargers took control early in game two with a 10 hit attack and never looked back, winning 5-0.

The wins move GHC's record to 9-8 in GCAA play.  They will play Andrew College next week in another GCAA series.
