The Lady Chargers traveled to Americus, Georgia to take on GCAA conference foe and defending GCAA Champion South Georgia Tech. The Lady Jets took charge from the start and looked back as they ran away with a 84-45 conference win over the Lady Chargers. South Georgia Tech outscored the GHC 22-9 in the first period and held the Lady Chargers to only 3 points in the second period to lead at the half 42-12. The second half wasn't much better for the Lady Chargers with South Georgia Tech maintain9ng their 30 point lead most all the second half to come away with the win.
Leading scores for the Lady Chargers were Anna Stewart with 14 points, Judasia Hills and Brianna Davis with 9 points, and Ozahria Fisher with 4 points and 7 assists. With the loss the Lady Chargers fall to (6-4) and (2-1) in GCAA Conference play. GHC returns to action on Wednesday at the Corral versus Albany Tech. Tip-off 5:30pm.
