Lady Chargers traveled to Atlanta Metro College and came away with a 66-56 conference win. GHC had four players in double digits in scoring led by Dorian Sharpe with 16 points, Briana Davis had 15, Anna Stewart had 12 points and 9 rebounds, Kateryna Khomenko with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
"We really struggled with effort and energy in the first half. Came out and played much better in the second half. Held them to 25% shooting in the second half which was huge for us. Great efforts from three of our sophomores, Brianna Davis, Anna Stewart, and Kateryna Khomenko," said Lady Charger head coach Brandan Harrell.
The Lady Chargers (9-9) on the year and (5-2) in conference play will return to action on Wednesday at home versus South Georgia Tech, tip off 5:30pm
