The Lady Chargers opened their GCAA conference season with a 70-50 win over the Lady Tigers of Andrew College. The Lady Chargers got out to a 12-6 lead after the first period and extended their lead to 30-13 at the half. GHC continued their great play on the boards out-rebounding the Lady Tigers 54-39 to come away with their first confernce win.

The Lady Chargers were led by Jahnarria Brown with 14 points, followed by Destiny Marshall and Nijeria Jordan with 12 points each. The Lady Chargers 2-1, and 1-0 in GCAA Conference play take on Southern Crescent at the Corral on Wednesday, tip off 5:30pm.
