Behind Ciara Thompson 3rd consecutive double - double and Jessica Eadforth-Yates great play on offense the Lady Chargers get their 8th conference win of the season over the Lady Titans of Albany Tech 81-63. The Lady Chargers opened the game with a strong defensive presence in the first half holding the Lady Titans to just 31% from the field, and GHC made the most of their opportunities at the free throw line going 12/13 in the first half, taking a 41-28 lead into the half. The Lady Chargers extended their lead to 60-43 to end the 3rd period. The Lady Titans matched GHC in scoring in the final period but the Lady Chargers lead was to much and GHC closed out down the stretch for the 18 point win.

The Lady Chargers had 5 players in double digits. Ciara Thompson once again led the way, playing in all 40 minutes of the game, scoring 20 points, and 15 rebounds. Jessica Eadforth-Yates added 16 points, Ja'Lyn Reese had 13 points, Jahanarria Brown in her first game back from an injury that keep her out for a few games scored 12 points, and Sharai Lay also had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. The Lady Chargers 11-9, 8-1 in conference play return to action on Saturday as they travel to Gadsden State to take on the Lady Cardinals, tip off 4:00pm EST.
