Kayla Laukka started 41 games for the Chargers at both 3rd base and behind the plate. Kayla batted 0.368 overall with 14 doubles, 7 homeruns, 45 RBI's and 1 stolen base. Kayla Laukka comes to Georgia Highlands College from Dallas, Georgia where she attended East Paulding High School. Kayla was a four-year letterwinner in softball under head coach Dean Burrell, where Kayla was a member of the All-Region team her senior year and recieved the pitching and defensive player of the year awards. Kayla is a HOPE scholar. Kayla played summer ball for the Atlanta Vipers under head coach David Laukka. Kayla is the daughter of David and Kristie Laukka and has one brother Coleman.
