Cartersville, GA. -- The Chargers softball team wrapped up their opening week against Florence-Darlington Technical College.

The Chargers finished the first week of the early 2024 season. The Chargers were led by their pitching staff scattering three complete games. Grace Kendrick was tabbed as game one starter on the mound. The Chargers pitching staff fanned eight over the course of the three game series. 

The Chargers offense was led by Haylee Dishmon, Ally Graden, and Hayden Joyner who collected ten of the twenty total hits in the series. The trio also drove in seven of the Chargers eight RBI's. Dishmon also added four stolen bases to her young career.
