Every player scored points, five reaching double digits, as Georgia Highlands rolled past Palmetto State 113-39 Friday night at Gordon State College.
Chi Shannon, a sophomore from Douglasville, led the scoring for the Chargers with 18 points, shooting 8 of 10 from the field and chipping in 3 free throws. Australian Baxter MacDonald, Jordan Johnson, Josh Cooper and Isaiah Logan rounded out the double-digit scorers.
GHC returns to action Saturday against Community Christian College of Georgia, also at Gordon State College. The Chargers topped the Crusaders 115-63 in their previous meeting a month ago.
